This full day course, created and taught by Stephen Priddle, CPA, CA, CMA, covers useful tips for accountants who work in the public sector. This includes the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government, as well as public sector agencies and crown corporations.  It contains:

• Tips from Stephen Priddle's other courses that apply in the sector

• Tips from his other courses that do not apply directly but will get participants thinking/inspire them

• Some tips that have been developed for the public sector context, which may apply

Value will also be derived from the sharing of experiences and practices and brain-storming by the participants. in the live version.

About 90% of the course applies to non-accountants working in governments, so it is of interest to them as well.

These sessions include 1.0 verifiable ethics PD hours, for those provinces that have this requirement.

More than 98% of the course content applies outside Canada, so it is of interest to accountants from anywhere in the world.

Stephen Priddle has worked for a crown corporation, four federal departments, and on loan to the Office of the Auditor-General from KPMG.  He has also submitted many successful federal, provincial and municipal government financing submissions, while in the private sector.
